About us

ACT Islamic Educational Services (ACTIES) is the approved provider and it the registered business name under the not-for-profit association, Canberra Islamic Centre Inc. 

ACTIES has collaborated with the Islamic Council of NSW (ICNSW) and AIES to utilise the ISRE syllabus (K-6 and 7-12) and it forms the Islamic Studies program being delivered. Both ICNSW and AIES have many years’ experience teaching ISRE at NSW government schools under the SRE schools’ program.

ACTIES recruits, trains and supports volunteers to teach Islamic religious education.
